I. INSTALLING THE DEMO:
============================

Run 'setup.exe' making sure that the file 'dsetup.dll' is in the same
directory.
You will be prompted for your choice of language for the installer program -
select it from the drop-down list.
You will then be asked to enter the directory you wish to install the game to.



II. RUNNING THE GAME:
=========================

After you install "Project IGI2: Covert Strike - DEMO" there will be an "IGI 2
Demo" shortcut on your desktop. Double-click this to start the game.
Alternatively you can start the game by going to: Start Menu -> Programs -> IGI
2 Covert Strike -> Play IGI 2 Demo.

III. KNOWN ISSUES:
=====================

1. ATi Radeon 8500

DESCRIPTION: Game displays graphical distortion with Force Software
Vertex Processing set to YES. There may also be graphical issues with Radeon
7200, 7500 cards.

SOLUTION: Graphical options must have Force Software Vertex Processing
to YES in order to run the game with this card with the latest drivers.
Unfortunately this causes graphical errors. This will be fixed for final
release.


2. Matrox Parhelia graphical issues

DESCRIPTION: Game displays black glitches on ground.

SOLUTION: This is a known issues with this card and the latest drivers.
Will be fixed for final release.


3. GeForce4 Ti 4600 0x0x0 resolution

DESCRIPTION: There is a resolution of 0x0x0 in the graphics settings for
this card

SOLUTION: Do not use this resolution.


4. Sound glitches with automatic weapons/TBA's/pausing and unpausing game

DESCRIPTION: If the player or an enemy fires an automatic weapon or the
player pauses and unpauses the game while moving there is a hissing noise.

SOLUTION: Go to Sound options and use 'Dolby Surround' or 'Miles Fast 2D
Positional Audio' as your Sound Provider if they are supported.


5. Player swims off end of river and crosshair enlarged

DESCRIPTION: The player swims off the end of the river and their
crosshair is now expanded.

SOLUTION: Quit and restart the game - the crosshair will be reset.
