Readme
Here is a list of the modification and fixes we have made to V2.03 of Flanker 2.0:
- Flight model for AI planes improved. AI is no longer invincible.
- Corrected problem of model swapping during destruction.
- Improved model of USS Vinson.
- Fixed trim pulling to the right if rudder pedals installed.
- Debriefing now indicates when Ctrl+A (time acceleration) and S (time reset to normal) are used in the mission.
- Ability to land on carrier added to network play.
- Realistic delay in detection by AI aircraft when IR missile launched.
- Flight model of iron bombs improved.
- Cluster bombs more accurately modeled with wider dispersal if dropped from high altitude.
- Bombs have a more realistic oscillation upon release.
- Ability to land on carrier in any HUD mode added.
- Fixed ASI speed calculation.
- Rockets now jettison from aircraft correctly.
- Engine model improved for numerous aircraft.
- CCIP (Continuously Computed Impact Point) for bombs improved.
- CCIP for guns during ground strafing attack improved.
- CCIP for rockets improved.
- Flaps now produce sound during automatic landing.
- HUD range indicator corrected when in bombing mode.
- Rocket pods now appear to be empty after all rockets expended.
- Auto thrust indicator added to instrument panel.
- Fuel discharge now visible.
- Flaps more effectively modeled.
- Carrier launches are more realistic with heavy payloads.
- Air brake more effectively modeled.
- Landing flight model improved.
- AIG-78 missile now correctly identified as RIM-66.
- Encyclopedia information updated.
- Damage model improved: now takes into account where and how far from plane missile warhead detonates.
- GAI flights set up after detecting enemy flights resulting in GAI flights no longer blocking runways.
- Improved AI for taxiing aircraft.
- AI uses EOS more effectively.
- Framerate improved.
- Carrier take off and landing more realistic.
- Ability for two players to take off from same airfield in multiplayer added.
- AI improved in multiple plane engagements.
- Air to ground munitions now cause appropriate collateral damage when they score a direct hit on the target.
- Slewing of targeting reticule for guided munitions is faster.
- New Key Command list.
